Why Playing the Dating Game Is Keeping You Single (And What to Do Instead) | Ep 114
You’ve been told to “play it cool”, “match their energy” and leave the same amount of time they take to reply to reply back to them.
But despite all those things, you feel stressed, increasingly annoyed and spend the entire time clock-watching - whether that’s for when the last replied, eagerly awaiting their next reply, only to be disappointed when you check and there’s still no response… or you’re ticking down the time that you’ve limited yourself by to reply.
Surely if this worked, we wouldn’t have to feel this way every time we were chatting to someone?!
This was my exact thoughts when I was dating.
It wasn’t meant to be this hard and stressful was it?!
And I’m pleased to tell you, it doesn’t have to be!
Sure, some people would’ve found a magic solution after implementing these things… but if your stress levels are sky high, and that sneaky anxious attachment is creeping in, this might not be the best way to date (and might even be keeping you single!)
So join me for todays episode where we stop playing the dating games and start dating with more calm, ease and confidence - and still find the good ones!
